Robert M. Liddell, M.D.
Robert Liddell, M.D. is a medical director and musculoskeletal, pediatric and body radiologist for Radiology Consultants of Washington, which serves five of our eight Center for Diagnostic Imaging (CDI) outpatient centers in the Puget Sound area.
Dr. Liddell completed a fellowship in body radiology (CT/US/MRI) at the University of Washington. He also completed a fellowship in pediatric radiology at the Children’s Hospital and Medical Center, University of Washington, as well as Addenbrooke’s Hospital, University of Cambridge, England and the Hospital for Sick Children, Great Ormond Street, London. Dr. Liddell completed his residency in diagnostic radiology at the University of Washington where he served as chief resident. He also completed an internship in internal medicine at the University of Rochester. In 1981, Dr. Liddell completed a research fellowship at the Radiation Effects Research Foundation in Hiroshima, Japan. Dr. Liddell received his medical degree at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry and completed his undergraduate degree at Purdue University, where he received a B.S. degree in honors biology with Highest Distinction and a B.A. in Spanish with Highest Distinction.
During his career, Dr. Liddell has authored or co-authored numerous peer review articles, abstracts, and presentations on body imaging in a number of prominent clinical publications including Investigative Radiology, Radiology, American Journal of Radiology, MRI Decisions and Journal of Bone and Joint Surgery.
His professional affiliations include the Radiological Society of North America, American Roentgen Ray Society, American College of Radiology, American College of Sports Medicine, Washington State Radiological Society and the King County Medical Society.
