Sidney P. Walker, M.D.
Sidney P. Walker, M.D., is a body radiologist at Center for Diagnostic Imaging (CDI). A radiologist for more than 14 years, he served as head of body imaging at the University of Minnesota and brings extensive experience in outpatient and inpatient imaging to CDI, including prostate and colorectal cancers; pancreatobiliary, hepatobiliary and gastrointestinal diseases; as well as research.
Dr. Walker completed his Body Imaging Fellowship at Yale-New Haven Hospital in New Haven, Connecticut and served his radiology residency at St. Luke’s/Roosevelt Hospital Center in New York, New York. Dr. Walker earned his medical degree at Albert Einstein College of Medicine, in Bronx, New York.
Dr. Walker’s professional affiliations include the American College of Radiology and the Radiological Society of North America. He has extensive clinical radiology experience in both the State of Washington and in Minnesota. Dr. Walker was awarded Teacher of the Year by University of Minnesota’s Radiology Residency Program in 2009 for his role as Assistant Professor of Radiology and in 2010 as Head of Body Imaging Section.
