After your CDI visit for a diagnostic imaging procedure, the images from your exam are transferred to one of our radiologists who specializes in analyzing images of the specific area of the body you had examined. Next, the radiologist prepares a diagnostic report to share with the doctor that sent you to us. Your doctor will consider this information in context of your overall care, and talk with you about results. Give your doctor’s office a call if you have questions on next steps or follow-up appointments.

CDI retains exam films electronically for a set length of time that is in accordance with state laws, in most cases for a minimum of five to seven years. We send your original exam films and reports directly to your physician, who will discuss the results with you. Please contact your referring doctor if you need your films or report. Your physician should be able to provide you copies of your films upon request. In any legal matters, your attorney may obtain copies of your medical records directly from us with your written authorization.
