Health care, and insurance benefit plans in particular, can be confusing. As your partner in health care, CDI is committed to doing our best to help you navigate this part of your care, allowing you to focus on getting the health answers and treatments you need.
In fact, our Patient Advocates are specially trained to work with you, one-on-one, to help you get answers before your exam, providing procedure information as well as estimates on pricing and out-of-pocket expenses.
Medical Insurance plans vary and an exact estimate of benefits is difficult. However, we can provide you with a close estimate prior to your appointment.
Have your referring doctor’s name, the procedure, and your insurance card handy when you call and we’ll help you get the answers you need.
CDI’s Patient Advocate Line: 952.541.1111.
BEFORE YOUR APPOINTMENT: Many insurance plans require pre-authorization for medical imaging. In essence, this is a quality precaution to make sure the imaging exam is needed and that the best exam is being ordered based on your symptoms and personal health history.
Our Patient Advocates are happy to work with your insurance provider to help obtain pre-authorization or pre-notification. Please note, getting approval from your insurance provider is an important step to take before your exam so you don’t have sole responsibility for paying for that exam afterward.
AT CHECK-IN: Come to your appointment at CDI with: • insurance card(s) • valid driver’s license or state identification card

I have had four previous MRIs and this is the nicest of all. It was nice to be able to listen to the radio and to have pleasant instructions throughout of what as happening -quiet time, noise time and how many minutes for each.
