Susan J. Meyer, M.D.
Susan J. Meyer, M.D. is a musculoskeletal radiologist at Center for Diagnostic Imaging (CDI). She has additional expertise in diagnostic and therapeutic joint injection procedures. Most recently Dr. Meyer was the section chief of musculoskeletal radiology at Methodist Hospital of Indiana.
Dr. Meyer completed a fellowship in musculoskeletal radiology at The Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania after completing her residency in diagnostic radiology at Methodist Hospital of Indiana. She graduated from Indiana University School of Medicine. Dr. Meyer has formally taught Methodist Hospital and Indiana University Diagnostic Radiology residents in the area of musculoskeletal radiology, and has received numerous teaching awards for her contributions. She also instructed Indiana University medical students, Ball State University radiologic technology students, Methodist Sports Medicine fellows and Methodist Hospital Family Practice and Internal Medicine residents.
During her career, Dr. Meyer has presented numerous lectures, and has published articles and book chapters regarding musculoskeletal applications of CT and MRI, including shoulder, knee, foot and ankle, hip and sports-related injuries. Her professional affiliations include Radiologic Society of North America, American Roentgen Ray Society, Indiana State Medical Association and Marion County Medical Society.
