Family Practice Medical Center (FPMC), Janning ENT Center, Allergy & Asthma Specialty Clinic, and Center for Diagnostic Imaging (CDI) are pleased to announce their collaboration in bringing to the local community Willmar CDI, an outpatient medical imaging and image-guided procedures center.

The center offers the following services to Willmar and surrounding communities when it opens this September: Computed Tomography (CT), full-field digital mammography, ultrasound, x-ray, and DEXA (bone density) imaging. The center will also offer image-guided biopsies, and image-guided interventional procedures for the diagnosis and treatment of joint and back pain.

“Diagnostic imaging and image-guided procedures are important components in many patients’ care continuum,” explains Martin Janning, M.D., of Janning ENT Center. “Often these procedures aid us in making a definitive diagnosis, which can lead to a more efficient, effective treatment plan. We’re therefore excited to be bringing our community an additional choice for these services.” CDI’s radiologists are subspecialists in the areas of body, spine, neuro, musculoskeletal and breast imaging as well as image-guided biopsy and injections procedures. Research shows that physician specialization leads to proficiency and accuracy.

The three local physician groups chose to partner with Center for Diagnostic Imaging (CDI) because if its imaging expertise, attention to cost-effective yet high-quality care, and regional focus. “CDI is headquartered in Minnesota and has affiliated subspecialized radiologists living throughout the state, including those with whom we’ve partnered, who live in Central Minnesota and serve communities in an around Willmar,” said Amy Ellingson, M.D., of Allergy & Asthma Specialty Clinic.
