Scheduling at CDI
Call 414.774.7226 to schedule your annual mammogram at either of our two convenient outpatient centers in Menomonee Falls and Waukesha or for current walk-in availability.

Screening mammograms do not require a referral from your doctor. However, at the time of scheduling, you are required to provide your primary care doctor’s contact information so we can share the results with him or her.

Who should have a mammogram?
The American Cancer Society recommends women 40 years and older have an annual screening mammogram to aid in early detection of breast cancer. If you are under 40 years old, talk to your doctor to see what screening program will work best for you, particularly if you have a personal or family history of breast cancer. Learn more here on what to expect during your annual mammogram.
Have you had a Mammogram in the past?
We’ll make it easy for you to come to CDI by contacting your last provider to get your prior mammogram results; be sure to have your provider name and phone number on hand when you schedule with us. Each year your mammogram images are compared to your last results, so please make arrangements to provide CDI with the results of your most recent mammogram before your exam.

Billing and Insurance Coverage for Screening Mammograms
Most insurance companies cover an annual screening mammogram as part of your preventative care. However, you should contact your provider so you are aware of your personal coverage. If you want assistance, CDI offers Insurance Specialists to help you contact your insurance provider prior to your appointment to obtain your specific medical benefits. They are here to help you with any questions you have regarding billing, insurance and costs related to medical imaging.

After your appointment, CDI will file your claim with the insurance company for you. If you are paying out of pocket, CDI will work with you to make payment, or set up a payment plan. Please contact our insurance specialist, 414.454.4934 and let us know how we can help you.

In working with patients every day, my goal is to help ease their fears and make them as comfortable as possible during their annual mammogram. So often, patients come in worried or anxious about the discomfort or what the finding might be. By focusing on each patient’s individual needs, I make the experience pleasant and comfortable. I feel like I make a difference each day.
