Finding the highest quality at the lowest price is the mission of many consumers today – regardless of whether it’s fuel, groceries or healthcare needs. Imaging at a Lower Cost
Did you know that it costs about 1/3 less to have an imaging exam at CDI (a freestanding, outpatient imaging center) than at hospital? In fact, we encourage you to compare CDI’s price for imaging services with local hospital providers. In doing so, consider you may have to pay a percentage of the total bill (based on deductible and co-pays). When you compare CDI to other providers, make sure you ask for the cost of the exam (technical fee) in addition to the radiologist’s read (professional fee). Because these bills sometimes arrive separately, some providers might tell you about one charge, and not the other!

While it might be easy to just focus on the cost, we’d advise you to think twice before sacrificing quality.
